Meet the Team
Team Venugopal/Laufer is a second-year mixed doubles team building on a strong first season together. With growing chemistry, experience, and a shared competitive drive, this young powerhouse has its sights set on qualifying for the 2027 Junior Mixed Doubles National Championship, held March 4–7 at the Cape Cod Curling Club. This season is about continuing to develop their game, competing hard, and taking the next step together.
Our First Event: CK Cup
With both Charlie and Sahana balancing busy competition schedules with their four-person teams this season, Team Venugopal/Laufer is approaching the CK Cup with a clear goal: qualify for the Junior Mixed Doubles National Championship.
The CK Cup will be their first mixed doubles event of the season and an important opportunity to earn their Nationals berth early, allowing them to focus on their fours teams while continuing to prepare for Junior Mixed Doubles Nationals in March.
